My Story
Hi! I’m Alex Buter, a tattoo artist based in Sacramento, CA. Originally from Pittsburgh and raised in Harrisonburg, VA, I made the big move to California in 2024 to chase new adventures and creative inspiration. I specialize in bright, bold, full-color tattoos — with a special love for anime and pop art styles. Whether it's a detailed character piece or a vibrant original design, I’m all about creating tattoos that feel as fun, dynamic, and personal as the people who wear them. Basically, if it looks like it belongs on the side of an arcade machine or straight out of a manga panel, I’m all about it.

When I’m not tattooing, you’ll probably find me gaming, binge-watching TV shows, or hanging out with my two dogs and my husband. I’m a huge nerd at heart, and I love bringing that energy into my art — whether it’s a nostalgic throwback or something wildly new. Tattoos should be exciting, meaningful, and a little bit magical, and that’s exactly what I aim to deliver. My favorite tattoos are the ones that let me geek out with my clients — whether we’re talking about your favorite character, a crazy color palette, or a wild idea you dreamed up at 3AM.
